High school. What a thought—Right?? Tell me back then I’d be doing this now, I would’ve laughed. However, the tides have changed. Not only have I grown accustomed to what I provide, it also serves as a reminder to where all “this” began.

I did not fall out of the sky and decide–“Hey! I want to DJ!” The adventure started in a strange, but cool way. I began running karaoke equipment in a tavern owned by some very special people in my life, Mike and Deb Dwyer had in La Crosse. After awhile, I was told My Second Home on Friday nights was the place to go! The mix of music and karaoke was perfect!  It started….

After a couple years, I was asked if I would DJ a wedding reception. Talk about a nervous wreck???!! I didn’t have equipment, wasn’t sure what to expect, not much of a music selection (CD’s), but I accepted and pushed forward. Rented what I needed, got the job done.

With the past, comes new. I decided to invest in more music, karaoke, sound equipment and venture off to do what I loved, making others have a blast! To make a long story short; I’ve been, seen, rocked very eclectic groups of folks. Whether a wedding reception, high school dance, anniversary party or tavern, I’ve made some very good friends from this profession, especially weddings. Nothing like seeing your “newly weds” grow a family of their own.

This is an honor I would like to provide for you too! I understand there is a vast majority of services out there, but let me ask you this: Is the person you talked with going to be the one doing your event? Trust me, I know from past experience that “big” name services send sub contractors out for them due to mass bookings. This is an epic fail waiting to happen! I did this for a brief time, promised everything, received nothing but headaches. More importantly, clients that were very upset because they did not talk too, or hire me to provide service. It was a nightmare!

Looking back, what a road it has been! I will continue to strive on providing an affordable, fun and professional experience for my clients. I hope to serve you soon!!
